I’ve been here three days and I’ve hit all the places I’ve been dreaming about for an entire year: Marina subs (twice: italiano, turkey), Ocean Taqueria, Mitamo/Hiro’s Place (thanks erin/auntie sophia!), In N Out. To be honest the most important ones are Marina Subs and Hiro. Planning repeats before I go back to NYC.

Yalla Yalla

Tonight, I finally made it to the restaurant where I wanted to have my birthday dinner! Found tucked away in an alleyway near Piccadilly Circus, Yalla Yalla is set up more like a cafe than a “proper” sit down restaurant with eight small tables set up and a bar covered in various pastries. White washed, wood paneled walls surround the small room where two German (or Easten European?)...
