Annie got her first DSLR recently and it made me nostalgic about when I first bought mine. So I went through a collection of the first pictures I ever took with my handy companion.

Scott Roeder takes the best ultimate photos I’ve seen (I’ve thought this for years) and I look at a lot of ultimate photos (and I mean A LOT). Check out his work here.
His photography and skills generally are amazing, but I just felt like pointing out how he stands above all other photographers when it comes to capturing key Ultimate moments. In addition to his sports photography and editing skills, I attribute his success to being an elite player, which probably helps anticipate plays.

First 7d purchased, first NYE party tickets purchased, first Lei Out flight purchased.

7d or not to be?

That is the question…

Been trying to convince myself to upgrade from my old Xsi to full frame or a 7d for the past week (and somewhat for the past year).

“Panoramic Camera Ball of the Day: The aptly-named Throwable Panoramic Ball Camera is a ball fitted with 36 2-megapixel cameras, arranged to take a perfect 360 panorama in midair.

Designed by the Berlin-based Computer Graphics Group, the football-sized device uses custom software to stitch the 36 separate images into one. Because it has cameras on all sides, the panorama even includes a view of the photographer/thrower that you wouldn’t get with a normal tripod.

The ball is patent pending, and doesn’t have a release date listed yet.
